While it is close to impossible to not draw inspiration from the things around you, nothing is more looked down upon in the artist’s world than someone ripping off your style! That being said, its a necessary evil in some ways. Why push yourself to create something new if you are never challenged to do so?

I am thrilled to hear that! I cannot stand knock off’s. I say buy the real thing, save for it or buy a nice inexpensive brand until you can afford the real deal. The designer should have all rights, after all it is HIS idea and his creativity, why should anyone have the right to steal it? I am lucky enough to have 1 pair that my boyfriend got me as a gift. I treasure them :)

There go all of my hopes of owning a red sole shoe one day, haha. I don’t think I’ll be affording Louboutin’s ever, but I think he did the right thing. What a beautiful creation!
